  • Whether it's meat puppetry or sock puppetry, AnonSiduri's veiled threats are disruptive in and of itself, so I've blocked the account. I don't think a checkuser is all that necessary here for a couple of reasons. We don't really need a technical confirmation here as the behavioral evidence is clear. Also, the user/meat account is keen on promoting a specific point of view and associating it with Jim Siduri's account, so current or future socks will become readily apparent as well. Obvious WP:DUCK socks of Jim-Siduri, who was blocked for general disruption, and for endless utterly clueless and obsessive efforts to promote an obscure character from a 4000-year-old epic as a means to start a new religion. It should be noted that there is precisely zero evidence that a 'Professor Pete Dyr' exists, except as Jim's alter ego - nothing on Google but Siduri-nonsense. Nothing on Google Scholar but the same. A professor who got that position without ever publishing anything? I think not... (Probably not relevant here, but he's been doing the same thing at multiple other websites - basically anywhere he can post his blather. Though he's not claimed that 'Dyr' is a professor elsewhere, which has to be further evidence he's making the whole lot up...). Jim-Siduri, AndySiduri and other ”puppets” of the Siduri movement are NOT manifestations of AndyTheGrump: 1) almost all of suspect IPs reside in the US, 2) AndyTheGrump's edits reside in the UK, 3) AndyTheGrump has been editing WP long before the Siduri problems started. AndySiduri IS a puppet, AndyTheGrump is NOT a puppet. Plus, Andy has long been the strongest opponent of the Siduri movement, but this in no way should be construed as evidence of him being a strawman sleeper account.

There are some other accounts that have posted on commons and wikiversity: User:Password-Siduri, User:Password-anonymous, User:PasswordTwilightZone, User:Siduri-Artwork, User:Professor-Peter-Dyr, as well as a few other IPs: 166.170.51.220, 166.170.50.82, 71.160.93.132, 149.142.83.254, 66.14.164.195, 169.232.212.162, 149.142.83.254. Note reference to Siduri, which is the quacking of banned troll Jim-Siduri. (That is, the editor was originally a well-meaning but deeply clueless editor, but has now become a troll.)

And incidentally, concerning 1=I-believe-in-HER's other edits, to Talk:Anonymous (group), JIm_Siduri seems to have something an obsession with this group too - he has repeatedly appropriated their 'we are legion' slogan for his own deranged rants.
