- Here’s I take Callahan’s Toyota hilux to go and give paddy Jones a hand at planting the spuds. Along the way we meet a nice Ford 8770 planting barley. There’s a nice John Deere 7710 and a Ford 6610 on the a howard rotavater and paddy Jones lovely David brown 995 with a front loader 🇮🇪🤠
I sat on the back of one of those potato planters back maybe 40 years ago. We sat on the back, facing forward though, and the hopper went the full width of it, with 2 chutes, one for each man. Hard to keep the pace up, the ould lad giving out to me to go faster or they'll be too far apart! 🤣

I did my apprenticeship in a Ford dealership in Queensland Australia, we had Ford cars, light trucks and tractors... that old 6610 brought back memories for me, the '10' series tractors were new back then 😁
